Ladies, watch out!

I've been without cologne for the past month or so, relying instead on my can of old-spice body spray to impress the ladies. Body spray, however, doesn't really do what cologne can. So I was excited to see, this morning, that this finally arrived in the mail:

Don't let the brand name confuse you. I hate Abercrombie and Fitch as much as the next guy. To me, the brand has prostituted itself out too much to the demographic of guy models that look like chicks, and girl models that look like dudes. It's not my cup of tea. I wear this cologne, however, because it has evoked more "oh-wow-what-are-you-wearing" type responses from the ladies than any other cologne I've worn. With that being the primary reason I wear cologne, (secondary is to fend off vampires) I figured I'd stick with what works. I am considering a second bottle of something else, though, because one cologne all the time makes jack a dull boy. I think the polygamists put it best when they say, "Why have one, when you can have two?"

-Barry

P.S. Please offer your suggestions on what my second choice should be!

  2. Wow, you would quote polygamists when talking about cologne.

Haha, and that's funny, because I also was hoping that you would ask for recommendations for your second cologne, and my favorite cologne is Cool Water just like her. :)

That said, I am sure that the one you just got is amazing, because there are many, many very good smelling colognes out there.

So there is my opinion without you asking for it.

  3. Thank you for your suggestions! I'll look into Cool Water. And I've altered my post to ask for suggestions on that second choice. :)

  4. I agree that Cool Water is quite nice. There's also one out there called Sexual that is mmmmmmmm... I mean, with a name like that, it has to be, right?

  5. Polo Blue by Ralph Lauren. Mmmmmm.

Whatever you do...don't wear Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani. I swear EVERY guy has worn that at some point...and they've always worn too much. Ugh.

  6. By far the best cologne ever conceived by mankind, (because who knows what other creatures have created superior colognes than us?) is BLACK by BVLGARI. It's like that first swim after a long winter, and that first run in new pair of shoes, WITH a new pair of socks. It's that good. Have I EVER let you down?

  7. I agree with you on the body spray thing... smells nice but wears off fast and its not as striking as cologne is. And I agree with you on the A&F thing. but... I work in the mall and I will say that walking past the store definately strikes people lol. The smell of the men's cologne there... is most definately amazing haha. I love the smell of Kenneth Cole: Reaction thats a good one =] that or Polo: Blue but that one isnt as good as Reaction. I dont think I have met a single girl yet who hasnt liked Reaction. Its amazing. You should check it out. If you do, there is both a cologne AND a perfume called Reaction by them... dont get them confused lol

  8. I see a face-off coming soon between Cool Water, Black, and Reaction. Sounds like a fight between rap artists, doesn't it?
